It’s time to get better.
There is not a ton of conversation about postpartum depression that deals with natural healing. As I research it, I find that most people are referred to psychologists and antidepressants. The illness, just a side effect of creating life. It wasn’t until my third child that postpartum depression really destroyed me. It took a long time after she was born for me to find myself again and realize that I didn’t lose and I’m not broken just because I had a baby.
Postpartum happens. There are people who have strong indicators that they will suffer with it. I had many of them.
But, what it took me a long time to realize is that I gave myself postpartum, simply by not caring for my body or protecting my thoughts. And I found, the best way to recover was to both change my thoughts and flood my body with nutrients.
